Aitutaki Accommodation at Ootu Beach and Peninsula

The Ootu Peninsula is the long “hook” of Aitutaki’s main island that stretches down the northeastern edge of the lagoon. In other words, the stretch that also has the airport runway. The two most populated villages on Aitutaki are Amuri, just south of the “Sunset Coast”, and Arutanga about 1.5km (0.9 miles) south. The rest of the Aitutaki accommodation can be found on the southwest coast near the village of Nikaupara. Accommodation is just across the road from a sandy beach. Alternatively, there is some affordable inland accommodation nearby the village of Tautu.
